Narrative:
Passenger inadvertently boarded incorrect airplane, and did not bring it to attention of flight attendant until taxi out to runway. Flight attendant opened door (cockpit) during taxi out and informed me, then closed door. Flight attendant opened door again and restated that someone had boarded wrong airplane. I stopped airplane this time before I allowed her to talk. I told her that we would proceed to destination whereupon the passenger could connect to intended destination. Flight attendant later informed me that passenger had jumped up during taxi. Aci (on jump seat) queried me after flight concerning the procedure for a passenger who stands during taxi and the procedure for cockpit notification. He stated that I handled the situation correctly.
