Narrative:
Air carrier stl-dtw cleared lindbergh 2 SID, map, as filed. On frequency 118.95 misset outbound radial of 184 degrees and when cleared to intercept SID, joined this radial. Departure controller pointed out my mistake and issued new heading to intercept correct radial (214 degrees). No conflict resulted, that I'm aware of. Closer scrutiny of SID would have and will prevent this.
