At map at 1800 (1600 ft?) I seemed high. It took extra rate of descent (1000 ft plus) because ATC wanted us to maintain 170 KTS to the high rise, and we were actually cleared a visual, and given permission to fly the lda path.

Title: SFO LDA RWY 28 EVALUATION.
Narrative: AT MAP AT 1800 (1600 FT?) I SEEMED HIGH. IT TOOK EXTRA RATE OF DSCNT (1000 FT PLUS) BECAUSE ATC WANTED US TO MAINTAIN 170 KTS TO THE HIGH RISE, AND WE WERE ACTUALLY CLRED A VISUAL, AND GIVEN PERMISSION TO FLY THE LDA PATH.
