Narrative:
Aircraft suffered a complete 'B' hydraulic system failure. Problem was handled in accordance with company procedures. However, captain elected to continue to dallas fort worth (approximately 750 mi) versus diverting to denver, 150 mi away. First officer felt a divert to denver was warranted. During initial hydraulic failure autoplt disengaged and aircraft climbed 600 ft above assigned altitude. Aircraft was immediately hand flown back to correct altitude. No loss of separation was reported.
