Narrative:

We climbed to an initial cruise altitude of 35000 ft. We experienced chop in the climb and requested descent to 28000 ft. During leveloff, ATC reported altitude readout of 27500 ft. #1 dfgc was not set to 29.92 and this resulted in an altitude deviation. Failure to set altimeter, due to distraction on climb out. Fatigue may also have been a factor because it was the last leg of a 4 day trip.
