Narrative:

VFR cleared to land at den. On final approach talking to approach control with localizer and GS up and working. I was the flight engineer. The captain misjudged distance to runway and altitude and drifted below GS. Controller stated 'air carrier, altitude alert.' the captain corrected immediately. No further problems.
