Narrative:
In a cessna centurion (C210 model north) made a normal VFR approach. Instantly upon touchdown (soft touchdown), heard a thud. Plane's tail lifted diagonally to left and propeller struck runway. I proceeded to bring the plane back into control and normal attitude, realized left main gear had collapsed. Proceeded to bring plane to rest on grass shoulder. The plane had gone through an extensive annual 30 hours earlier and no problem with gear noted.
