Narrative:

On approach to atlanta on crosswind to runway 09R, heading 320 degrees, altitude 3500 ft, airspeed 160 KTS, as directed by ATC. High wing cessna (152/72 type) appeared in windshield at 12 O'clock approximately 1 mi same altitude traveling from my right to left heading approximately 240 degrees. So saw aircraft, called it out. I was flying, pushed over and descended approximately 500 ft. Bogey passed over cockpit as we descended. We missed him, I estimate by 300-500 ft. ATC did not have him on radar. He was not on TCASII. Reported traffic to ATC who reported it to subsequent aircraft.
