Narrative:

Upon landing at an uncontrolled airport, the lineman gave us a message to call ny TRACON. TRACON said we had entered both class B and D without clearance. All instruments on board showed more than 20 mi outside the primary airport, lga, and never within 5 mi of hpn. Hpn, class D ends at 2900 ft MSL while class B begins at 3000 ft MSL. How is it possible to violate both class B and D? My belief is that the controllers were mistaken and not aware of the proper altitudes. Many complaints have been voiced about the controllers at hpn and belief is that they were in error, not us.
