Narrative:
A belt sander was found by the pilot upon arrival in denver from indianapolis. It was up under the rudder pedals and slid out. 3 different repairs involving a sander were done in this area. I am positive I returned the tool I used to the locker. The tool control at indy is lacking and no one knows who took out what sanders when. A better form of tool control would prevent incidents like this from happening again. Supplemental information from acn 325676 revealed the following information: to my knowledge I did not take any power tool into cockpit during this visit. No job card for final check of cockpit for tools.
