Narrative:
Hand flying aircraft, distracted by problem with ADF radio and missed level off at 5000 ft by 300-400 ft. Returned to altitude. On night flying sequence, very tired due to poor sleep on layover, which led to breakdown in habit pattern.

Title: A CARGO FLT DSNDED THROUGH ASSIGNED ALT WHILE ON VECTORS TO THE ARPT. THE PF (CAPT) WAS DISTRACTED BY A PROB WITH THE ADF RADIO AND CITED FATIGUE AS A FACTOR IN THE ERROR.
Narrative: HAND FLYING ACFT, DISTRACTED BY PROB WITH ADF RADIO AND MISSED LEVEL OFF AT 5000 FT BY 300-400 FT. RETURNED TO ALT. ON NIGHT FLYING SEQUENCE, VERY TIRED DUE TO POOR SLEEP ON LAYOVER, WHICH LED TO BREAKDOWN IN HABIT PATTERN.
