Narrative:

Ucr was filed on jul/mon/95. Got response from ATC manager on dec/xx/95. The taxiway is a heavily used taxiway. The trees and shrubs should be removed. Copies of documents are enclosed. The taxiway obscured is used to taxi aircraft to runways 9 and 34. Controllers cannot see aircraft or vehicles while they are on this part of the taxiway. 3 yrs ago the same situation occurred but airport manager cut down the trees and shrubs. This is a serious safety issue. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated the area designated as not visible from the tower is taxiway B from taxiway a to taxiway D and taxiway D. Airport manager has been unresponsive about pruning the trees and shrubs. Trees and shrubs are between taxiway B and taxiway F. Airport manager claims there are no funds.

Narrative: UCR WAS FILED ON JUL/MON/95. GOT RESPONSE FROM ATC MGR ON DEC/XX/95. THE TXWY IS A HEAVILY USED TXWY. THE TREES AND SHRUBS SHOULD BE REMOVED. COPIES OF DOCUMENTS ARE ENCLOSED. THE TXWY OBSCURED IS USED TO TAXI ACFT TO RWYS 9 AND 34. CTLRS CANNOT SEE ACFT OR VEHICLES WHILE THEY ARE ON THIS PART OF THE TXWY. 3 YRS AGO THE SAME SIT OCCURRED BUT ARPT MGR CUT DOWN THE TREES AND SHRUBS. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THE AREA DESIGNATED AS NOT VISIBLE FROM THE TWR IS TXWY B FROM TXWY A TO TXWY D AND TXWY D. ARPT MGR HAS BEEN UNRESPONSIVE ABOUT PRUNING THE TREES AND SHRUBS. TREES AND SHRUBS ARE BTWN TXWY B AND TXWY F. ARPT MGR CLAIMS THERE ARE NO FUNDS.
