Narrative:
Making a visual to runway 24R, the sun blocked the runway from sight. We went to the localizer to turn to final (from base) and overshot runway 24R. 'Other' aircraft was in sight at all times. TCASII and RA went off as we were turning on localizer, (other) aircraft was for runway 25L (we believe). Nothing was said. Supplemental information from acn 326191: while downwind, turning base the sun was so bright you could not see the runway any longer. Going back to instruments waiting for the localizer to move we overshot runway 24R, TCASII RA went off, captain had aircraft in sight the whole time, we corrected back. Nothing was said, (other) aircraft was for runway 25L at no time was the other aircraft out of our sight. Supplemental information from acn 326294: the sun blocked our view of runway 24R, and the localizer captured at an angle that we overshot runway 24R.
