Narrative:
Inbound bgi, cleared to descend to 2000 ft. After passing borus intersection, in anticipation of vectors to ILS 9 and attempting to comply with noise restrictions on page 10- 4, FMC was loaded to fly direct to ILS 9 IAF. This took us west of flight plan airway. Approach control advised us we were off airway. We asked if he wanted us to return to airway or continue to IAF. He advised us to continue and then cleared us to intercept ILS 9. Normal approach and landing.
