Narrative:

Cleared by ord ground to runway 32R via taxiway B, outer bridge, switch to ord tower on 126.9. Crossed outer bridge, lighting very low, unable to see runway 32R high speed line. Taxied far enough past bridge for other aircraft to pass behind us. Stopped and set brakes. I then saw runway 32R threshold markings in distance off at the 10 O'clock position. I estimated nose of my aircraft was approximately 30 ft past high speed line. Due to constant chatter on 126.9 due to landing aircraft and ord tower, I was unable to inform tower of my aircraft position. I elected to cross runway 32R to opposite taxiway, clear of runway 32R. I crossed runway 32R, there was then a break on the frequency, and I informed ord tower I had crossed runway. I apologized to tower and was subsequently cleared for takeoff on runway 32R.

Narrative: CLRED BY ORD GND TO RWY 32R VIA TXWY B, OUTER BRIDGE, SWITCH TO ORD TWR ON 126.9. CROSSED OUTER BRIDGE, LIGHTING VERY LOW, UNABLE TO SEE RWY 32R HIGH SPD LINE. TAXIED FAR ENOUGH PAST BRIDGE FOR OTHER ACFT TO PASS BEHIND US. STOPPED AND SET BRAKES. I THEN SAW RWY 32R THRESHOLD MARKINGS IN DISTANCE OFF AT THE 10 O'CLOCK POS. I APOLOGIZED TO TWR AND WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 32R.
