Narrative:
We were cleared direct to worpp 150 mi out. I selected rsw VOR instead of cce collier county for the collier arrival and failed to notice their close geographical position. The omega was questionable and we were in the process of turning and checking our position when ZMA corrected our heading for worpp and we discovered our incorrectly selected VOR. We deviated 7.5 mi from our intended course. The omega was 4 mi off. Rsw and cce are 20 mi apart.
Original NASA ASRS Text
