Narrative:

Inspection of dangerous goods revealed an undocumented pallet of dangerous goods at position 2L. This flight started on mar/sat/96 at ewr and was in anc for servicing/crew swap. The undocumented dangerous goods pallet originated/loaded at ewr. Proper paperwork not available for this pallet and it was removed. No incident occurred, but potential for same was great. A series of checks and balances used to prevent such an error obviously broke down. Air carrier's flight saftey and air operations management notified of occurrence via written reports. Further details possibly obtainable from the company's flight manager -- anc -- and our flight safety department.
