Narrative:

Upon takeoff and climb out from vat (north las vegas) clearance was to intercept 300 degree las radial cross at 4000 ft then climb 17000 ft as filed -- myf. On an assigned heading of 220 degrees I flew through the 300 degree radial and was admonished by departure to turn inbound and fly direct to las. This entrance to the class B is normally vectored. I evidently was subconsciously expecting vectors and turned in a very poor performance, there was no excuse for this, and I will not allow such an instance to reoccur.
