Narrative:
On descent to phl we were cleared the vcng arrival to phl. Aircraft was on autoplt and LNAV was on. Aircraft failed to make turn to intercept radial into vcn. Aircraft went 3 NM off course ATC informed us. Aircraft was returned to course by heading select. No conflict with any aircraft. FMC had erased arrival route.

Narrative: ON DSCNT TO PHL WE WERE CLRED THE VCNG ARR TO PHL. ACFT WAS ON AUTOPLT AND LNAV WAS ON. ACFT FAILED TO MAKE TURN TO INTERCEPT RADIAL INTO VCN. ACFT WENT 3 NM OFF COURSE ATC INFORMED US. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO COURSE BY HDG SELECT. NO CONFLICT WITH ANY ACFT. FMC HAD ERASED ARR RTE.
