Narrative:
During descent from FL350 to FL240, 250 KTS, cleared to hold at sinca. Just prior to/at leveloff at FL240. Center questioned our altitude. Center said he had amended our altitude earlier to FL250. He said we should now maintain FL240. We never received or acknowledged the change to maintain FL250.

Title: DURING DSCNT FROM FL350 TO FL240 AT 250 KTS, RPTRS WERE CLRED TO HOLD AT SINCA. JUST PRIOR TO LEVELOFF AT FL240, RPTRS RECEIVED AN AMENDED CLRNC TO FL240. ON QUESTIONING THE CTLR THE RPTRS LEARNED THEY HAD BEEN GIVEN AN AMENDED CLRNC TO FL250 THAT ACCORDING TO THE CTLR WAS READ BACK. NONE OF THE 3 PLTS WERE AWARE OF THE FL250 CLRNC OR READBACK.
