Narrative:
Notified by center that I was 4 NM east of V585. Rechked VOR settings, both set to 137 degrees (versus 147 degrees). Was distracted due to close monitoring of engine instruments after 100 hour. Set course 190 degrees, intercepted V585, continued uneventful.

Title: THE CTR NOTIFIED THE RPTR THAT HE WAS 4 NM E OF V585. THE RPTR RECHKED HIS VOR SETTINGS. BOTH WERE SET TO 137 DEGS AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN 147 DEGS. THE RPTR WAS DISTRACTED DUE TO CLOSE MONITORING OF ENG INSTS AFTER THE 100 HR CHK. THE RPTR CORRECTED BACK ON COURSE AND CONTINUED UNEVENTFULLY.
