Narrative:
During this time on position I was involved in 3 system deviations because aircraft handed off to the wrong sector from ZJX silver springs sector. This was reported to area supervisor. This has been happening for more than 10 yrs with no solution discussed or acted on. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the handoff problem occurs about 20 percent of the time on a daily basis. He said that there is no problem with handoffs from ZMA, the host facility to his facility. He indicated that handoffs from mco are also received in the wrong sectors. He stated that this did not occur until after mco was removed from the ZMA host system and configured in the ZJX system. Reporter indicated that he is unaware of action to correct the problem.
