Narrative:
Termination of flight from seoul to anc, landed runway 6R, tower directed exit to left on high speed taxiway, cross runway 6L, contact ground. Ground control contacted on high speed taxiway and directed left turn on parallel taxiway. I turned left on runway 6L instead. Problem discovered immediately by crew and ground control, and aircraft exited at next taxiway. Duty had originated in taipei at approximately XA15 pm, with intervening stop in seoul. Departed seoul for flight of 7.5 hours to anc. I believe fatigue was a factor, plus an early mental letdown of attentiveness after landing.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: THE RPTR LANDED AT ANC ON RWY 6R AND WAS INSTRUCTED BY TWR TO EXIT THE HIGH SPD TXWY, CROSS RWY 6L AND CONTACT GND. AFTER EXITING THE RWY 6R THE FLT TURNED ON RWY 6L INSTEAD OF THE PARALLEL TXWY. BOTH THE CREW AND GND CTLR RECOGNIZED WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THE CREW REQUESTED TO EXIT RWY 6L AT ECHO WHICH WAS APPROVED.
Narrative: TERMINATION OF FLT FROM SEOUL TO ANC, LANDED RWY 6R, TWR DIRECTED EXIT TO L ON HIGH SPD TXWY, CROSS RWY 6L, CONTACT GND. GND CTL CONTACTED ON HIGH SPD TXWY AND DIRECTED L TURN ON PARALLEL TXWY. I TURNED L ON RWY 6L INSTEAD. PROB DISCOVERED IMMEDIATELY BY CREW AND GND CTL, AND ACFT EXITED AT NEXT TXWY. DUTY HAD ORIGINATED IN TAIPEI AT APPROX XA15 PM, WITH INTERVENING STOP IN SEOUL. DEPARTED SEOUL FOR FLT OF 7.5 HRS TO ANC. I BELIEVE FATIGUE WAS A FACTOR, PLUS AN EARLY MENTAL LETDOWN OF ATTENTIVENESS AFTER LNDG.
