Narrative:
Level at FL330 we were given a clearance to cross 45 mi west of abb at FL240. At approximately 65 mi west of abb center asked if we were going to make the altitude restr ok. We replied that we would. We then noticed that 25 mi west of abb had been inadvertently loaded in the FMS as the crossing restr. Descent to FL240 was immediately started and expedited at 4000 FPM rate of descent and we were very close on the crossing restr.
