Narrative:
I became disoriented (lost). Overflew ETA to original destination which was spa. Eventually getting low on fuel, so had to land for fuel in the interest of safety, saw a well lighted runway with lights. So landed (safely) to obtain fuel. In flying must have gone through restr airspaces. Also there was an open can of aircraft paint in rear of back seat. Possibly fumes affected pilot judgement. Also was unacquainted with new radio equipment. Possible inattn on part of pilot. Missed waypoints. Better flight planning next time and will receive instruction on new equipment.
