Narrative:

I was on 24 hour reserve. I received a call early in the evening for a 2 hour show for a mia-NAS-mia-mco standup with scheduled 6 hour 5 min layover in mco. I had to wake up in the early morning and was fatigued when I landed in mco. I was extremely tired after only 3 1/2 hours sleep in mco before flying back to mia. Is this safe for a pilot to be given a last min trip of this type? If I called in sick or fatigued my airline would have threatened me with a letter in my file or fired me for calling in. I had to do the flight!
