Narrative:

At XA30 CDT I was holding in position at intersection delta for runway 36R, a metropolitan was on a 3 mi final for runway 36R at chihuahua, mx. I told the controller that I could take an immediate takeoff, the controller said ok, so I said 'air carrier is cleared for takeoff,' so I pulled onto the runway and took off. The only other communication I had, was to ask the controller, 'would you like air carrier to report 10 DME to the north?' he said 'yes, air carrier report 10 DME to the north.' I said 'roger will report 10 to the north.' there was no mention by tower of any unusual circumstances regarding the metropolitan. A go around was done by the metropolitan that I did not know about. (According to the first account). P.south. No problem was known about until a week later. The problem was that I had been clear for takeoff before with just a ok. In the future, I will only accept the word cleared for takeoff.

Narrative: AT XA30 CDT I WAS HOLDING IN POS AT INTXN DELTA FOR RWY 36R, A METRO WAS ON A 3 MI FINAL FOR RWY 36R AT CHIHUAHUA, MX. I TOLD THE CTLR THAT I COULD TAKE AN IMMEDIATE TKOF, THE CTLR SAID OK, SO I SAID 'ACR IS CLRED FOR TKOF,' SO I PULLED ONTO THE RWY AND TOOK OFF. THE ONLY OTHER COM I HAD, WAS TO ASK THE CTLR, 'WOULD YOU LIKE ACR TO RPT 10 DME TO THE N?' HE SAID 'YES, ACR RPT 10 DME TO THE N.' I SAID 'ROGER WILL RPT 10 TO THE N.' THERE WAS NO MENTION BY TWR OF ANY UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES REGARDING THE METRO. A GAR WAS DONE BY THE METRO THAT I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT. (ACCORDING TO THE FIRST ACCOUNT). P.S. NO PROB WAS KNOWN ABOUT UNTIL A WK LATER. THE PROB WAS THAT I HAD BEEN CLR FOR TKOF BEFORE WITH JUST A OK. IN THE FUTURE, I WILL ONLY ACCEPT THE WORD CLRED FOR TKOF.
