Narrative:
After pushing back from gate in dtw, flight dtw-atl, we were approached by a united states government car that asked 'why are our navigation lights off?' the switch was on, so I recycled the switch and our tug driver said 'the lights are on.' so, I proceeded to atl and wrote the switch up so maintenance could fix it.
