Narrative:

During night taxi out of crowded parking ramp, right wingtip impacted left wingtip of adjacent parked aircraft. Taxi was under direction of a marshaller, assisted by a right wing walker. Wing walker did not walk along with aircraft movement and fell out of sight of the pilots, masked by the wing. First officer assumed we would clear the adjacent aircraft and shifted his attention to calling ground control for taxi clearance. Marshaller continued 'come ahead' hand signals until impact. Then wing walker came running into sight giving stop signal. Pilots shut down aircraft, escorted passenger off aircraft and back into the terminal. Damage was limited to wingtip fairings on each aircraft, which were replaced. The aircraft (both) returned to service in the morning. There were no injuries. Post- incident, the wing walker claimed to have signaled a stop to the marshaller before impact, but the marshaller did not see the signal.
