Narrative:
I was taxiing onto the ramp in between 2 rows of aircraft. As I was moving into an open position there was an unlighted gpu. Pilot should be warned about an easy situation which could turn into an accident due to a congested ramp. Plus an unlighted gpu!

Title: PLT OF AN SMT TWIN TAXIED INTO PARKING AT NIGHT AND ALMOST HIT A GPU THAT WAS UNLIGHTED.
Narrative: I WAS TAXIING ONTO THE RAMP IN BTWN 2 ROWS OF ACFT. AS I WAS MOVING INTO AN OPEN POS THERE WAS AN UNLIGHTED GPU. PLT SHOULD BE WARNED ABOUT AN EASY SIT WHICH COULD TURN INTO AN ACCIDENT DUE TO A CONGESTED RAMP. PLUS AN UNLIGHTED GPU!
