Narrative:
After normal start up and ramp departure aircraft lost taxi control on taxiway P. Captain immediately brought aircraft to a stop, but not before we departed taxiway. Maintenance towed aircraft back to hangar. Inspected steering and found no faults. Aircraft was not damaged due to incident. Crew continued after maintenance inspection and aircraft performed normally.

Title: CAPT OF AN MDT TURBOPROP LOSS CTL OF ACFT DURING TAXI AND WENT OFF THE SIDE OF THE TXWY BEFORE STOPPING. ACFT WAS NOT DAMAGED AND WAS TOWED TO HANGAR FOR INSPECTION OF STEERING.
Narrative: AFTER NORMAL START UP AND RAMP DEP ACFT LOST TAXI CTL ON TXWY P. CAPT IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT ACFT TO A STOP, BUT NOT BEFORE WE DEPARTED TXWY. MAINT TOWED ACFT BACK TO HANGAR. INSPECTED STEERING AND FOUND NO FAULTS. ACFT WAS NOT DAMAGED DUE TO INCIDENT. CREW CONTINUED AFTER MAINT INSPECTION AND ACFT PERFORMED NORMALLY.
