Narrative:
After doing a maintenance walk around early in the shift, the engines were operated during gate repositioning. A bird flew into the left engine of the B737-200 causing a blade to be damaged. The damaged blade caused the flight to be canceled.

Title: DURING GATE REPOSITIONING, WITH ENGS RUNNING, A BIRD WAS INGESTED INTO ONE OF THE TURBINE JET ENGS CAUSING DAMAGE TO NOT ONLY THE BIRD, BUT ONE OF THE ENG'S TURBINE BLADES. THE ACFT HAD TO BE TAKEN OTS.
Narrative: AFTER DOING A MAINT WALK AROUND EARLY IN THE SHIFT, THE ENGS WERE OPERATED DURING GATE REPOSITIONING. A BIRD FLEW INTO THE L ENG OF THE B737-200 CAUSING A BLADE TO BE DAMAGED. THE DAMAGED BLADE CAUSED THE FLT TO BE CANCELED.
