Narrative:
I was instructing emergency engine out procedures. I pulled mixture off. The student did not turn toward field. I took control, added power, engine was dead. I chose another field. On approach the horizontal stabilizer struck a fence post. Landing and rollout was relatively smooth. No injuries.
