Narrative:
I was the PIC of a BE9F but was in the right seat and the copilot was flying in the left seat, but he also is qualified as PIC in type. He was making a landing at etc in calm wind and at touchdown he hit the brakes on the right side, blowing both tires on the right. No other damage was done to the aircraft and no one was hurt. We had the airport closed for about 2 hours to put new tires on.

Title: THE COPLT OF A BE9F APPLIED BRAKES DURING LNDG AND BLEW THE TIRES ON THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR. THE RWY WAS CLOSED WHILE THE TIRES WERE REPLACED.
Narrative: I WAS THE PIC OF A BE9F BUT WAS IN THE R SEAT AND THE COPLT WAS FLYING IN THE L SEAT, BUT HE ALSO IS QUALIFIED AS PIC IN TYPE. HE WAS MAKING A LNDG AT ETC IN CALM WIND AND AT TOUCHDOWN HE HIT THE BRAKES ON THE R SIDE, BLOWING BOTH TIRES ON THE R. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE ACFT AND NO ONE WAS HURT. WE HAD THE ARPT CLOSED FOR ABOUT 2 HRS TO PUT NEW TIRES ON.
