Narrative:
Acknowledged clearance from FL290 to FL330. Approaching FL320, ATC advised of 1 O'clock traffic at FL330 and gave us a right turn and descent to FL310. We had the traffic visually and on TCASII. Supplemental information from acn 337780: we heard and responded to clearance from FL290 to FL330. We had 'no' response to our reply of FL330. About 5 mi from aircraft at our 1 O'clock position and climbing through FL320 ft, ATC asked our altitude and gave us a turn to the right. I saw the aircraft. TCASII went off. We were in a descent to FL310, passing through FL317 ft.
