Narrative:

During our arrival into dfw, we had just leveled at 11000 ft on altitude setting 29.86 (the current altitude setting). The approach controller reported that our beacon read 10500 ft MSL, and we verified that we were level at 11000 ft MSL. At no time had we deviated from our assigned altitude. We informed him of that and continued with an uneventful flight. We are sure it is his equipment problem, because all 3 of our altimeters read properly.
