Narrative:
I became totally lost and was looking for an airport. I mistook fargo for brainerd, mn. I landed and was met by 2 FAA representatives. They treated me well and sent me on my way. My mistake was that I had dialed in the wrong number on the VOR and by the time I discovered it, I knew I was lost and went looking for any airfield.
