Narrative:
Leg from yeg to slc. Our clearance was to fly from gtf to dbs. Our omega was working, but the captain was not using it. At approximately the midway point, I noticed that we had full scale deflection on the CDI's (mine was on gtf and captain's on dbs). I mentioned that it looked like we were drifting a bit. The captain made no correction. At this point it looked like we might miss dbs (the start of the cartr arrival to slc) by about 10 mi or so. The captain was reluctant to make a correction until center mentioned our deviation. We ended up getting vectors to join the arrival. The captain was reluctant to accept any input from his crew. He was, however, very explicit in his instructions given to the rest of the crew and was upset if not followed immediately and to the letter.

Title: A B727'S TRACK DEV RESULTED WHEN THE CAPT REFUSED TO UTILIZE THE VLF OMEGA, THAT WAS ONBOARD THE ACFT. THE CTLR INTERVENED AND VECTORED THE ACFT TO THE VOR WHERE THEY COULD JOIN THE ARR.
