Narrative:
I just got done with a busy session on the south side combined with final radar and just before I got a break; a cessna called in 25 mi to the south of anc airport inbound for lake hood sea plane base; which is co-located with anchorage. I told the pilot to squawk a code and proceed inbound on the gravel pit arrival. It is a VFR route through anchorage to lake hood. I made a few more xmissions and got a break. During the brief; I never told the next controller about the cessna because he didn't squawk the right code and he was only a splat. Out of sight; out of mind. He later called approach over anc airport asking to switch to lake hood. Causal factor included a ton of unnecessary requests from tower for unimportant stuff; having final radar combined during a really busy session; and the wind-down after a busy session where I gave the guy a code he didn't squawk so I never saw nor radar contacted him.
