Narrative:
Restr aileron control, especially to the left, due maybe to water leak that might have iced up. An emergency was declared and we all agreed to proceed to ord and land on runway 14 to minimize turns either way, especially left. The outcome was a smooth landing. The cabin was prepared for evacuate/evacuation and a brace signal given at 500 ft, followed by an announcement during the landing roll for everyone to stay seated. Great CRM.
