Narrative:
3 light gear unsafe warning system showed unsafe nose gear indication on final approach to lzu. Executed fly-by for visual inspection from tower and determined negative nose gear extension. 1 hour in local area flight was spent exercising manual extensions and contacting aircraft manufacturer to supplement extension suggestions provided in operator's manual on board. All attempts, which included slow speed, high 'G' pull ups for extension, failed. Result was a landing attempt with partial (mains) gear extension, minimal damage, no injuries. Type: rockwell commander 112.
