Narrative:
On initial contact, approach control advised us to plan for runway 18L. After a frequency change, approach control gave us a heading to join (we thought runway 18L). After joining runway 18L, approach control advised us that they had cleared us to join runway 18R. We subsequently lined up and landed on runway 18R. I believe I 'heard what I expected to hear.' we had just commented to each other what a pleasant day it was, we were on the way home, and generally very 'mellow.' we simply let our guard down.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG LINED UP WITH THE WRONG PARALLEL RWY AFTER GIVEN A HDG FOR INTERCEPTING THE FINAL SINCE THEY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS THE RWY THAT WAS ORIGINALLY GIVEN BY ATC TO EXPECT.
Narrative: ON INITIAL CONTACT, APCH CTL ADVISED US TO PLAN FOR RWY 18L. AFTER A FREQ CHANGE, APCH CTL GAVE US A HDG TO JOIN (WE THOUGHT RWY 18L). AFTER JOINING RWY 18L, APCH CTL ADVISED US THAT THEY HAD CLRED US TO JOIN RWY 18R. WE SUBSEQUENTLY LINED UP AND LANDED ON RWY 18R. I BELIEVE I 'HEARD WHAT I EXPECTED TO HEAR.' WE HAD JUST COMMENTED TO EACH OTHER WHAT A PLEASANT DAY IT WAS, WE WERE ON THE WAY HOME, AND GENERALLY VERY 'MELLOW.' WE SIMPLY LET OUR GUARD DOWN.
