Narrative:
We were given an altitude restr to cross 20 DME east of yng at FL240. I got involved in a conversation with the captain and did not leave the cruise altitude. I subsequently crossed the restr point at FL330. The control reminded us of our restr. We started a fast descent. The controller gave us a 360 degree turn and we leveled off at FL240.
