While on 127.65 center frequency, received a message from the company to contact ZKC on 133.92. Either we missed the handoff or got out of range of the previous frequency.

Title: COM WAS LOST WITH CTR WHEN AN MD80 FLC MISSED A FREQ CHANGE. THE FIRST RECOGNITION OF THE EVENT CAME WITH A MESSAGE FROM COMPANY DISPATCH REGARDING A NEW FREQ.
Narrative: WHILE ON 127.65 CTR FREQ, RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM THE COMPANY TO CONTACT ZKC ON 133.92. EITHER WE MISSED THE HDOF OR GOT OUT OF RANGE OF THE PREVIOUS FREQ.
