Narrative:
Taxied from ramp area onto the taxiway prior to receiving the clearance. Upon entering the taxiway, I stopped, then received the clearance to taxi. No other occurrence. We taxied for takeoff and departed. No other aircraft were on the ramp or taxiway.

Title: A BA32 FLC FAILED TO CONTACT THE TWR FOR TAXI INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO MOVEMENT ONTO THE TXWY FROM THE RAMP. CLRNC TO TAXI WAS RECEIVED AFTER THE ACFT HAD STOPPED ON THE TXWY.
Narrative: TAXIED FROM RAMP AREA ONTO THE TXWY PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE CLRNC. UPON ENTERING THE TXWY, I STOPPED, THEN RECEIVED THE CLRNC TO TAXI. NO OTHER OCCURRENCE. WE TAXIED FOR TKOF AND DEPARTED. NO OTHER ACFT WERE ON THE RAMP OR TXWY.
