Possible incursion into lax class B, denied shoreline route, low stratus required radio navigation for corridor. Tuned smo VOR to from rather than to, got off course, realized error and tried to correct, turned too far north and got disoriented crossing santa monica mountains, may have entered burbank class C on way to vny.
