Narrative:
ATC facility: ZDC. Location: ldn/090/25. After departure from iad, on ZDC, approximately 15 mins after takeoff , cleared to 17000 ft. While climbing through 14000 ft center TA about 12 O'clock, 15000 ft. At 14400 ft center advised only cleared to 14000 ft. We had not heard nor read back the 14000 ft clearance. Center advised turn left 30 degrees and maintain 14000 ft. No further conflict.
