Narrative:
Leveled at 7000 ft nebound in VMC conditions, edo-air mitchell century iv autoplt altitude hold kicked off and aircraft descended to 6700 ft, at which time I discovered deviation and climbed back to 7000 ft. I don't have a prescription to prevent this from recurring except more attention to instrument scan. As most pilots operating single-pilot on long trips will testify, this is harder to practice than to advocate.
