Narrative:

I made flight anc-fai with company freight on board. When I took off from anc, it was 30 mi visibility, but in 1 hour ATIS information gave 1 mi 160 (below minimums). When I came 80- 100 mi to airport visibility was unrestr everywhere except bank of fog in fairbanks. I made decision to land in nenana (36 mi from fai). In nenana I had problems with radio communications from ground. I went to the city (2 mi) and kept contact with company, and FSS fai from phone at gas station. When I received information about WX it was XN40, it takes time to walk from gas station to airport. XO55 landing in fai. Quick unload and fuel airplane and return to base (anc). But I can't return back part 91, because I must take 1 box (only 1 box) 15 pounds emergency freight. Actually I start my duty time aug/xa/96 XA45, end of duty XR15 aug/xb/96. Total 16:30, 7.4 hours flight time during this period.
