Narrative:
We were sightseeing around atlanta metropolitan area. We circled around stone mountain. All of a sudden we heard a jet engine. Looked behind us and saw a united states customs cessna citation jet only a few ft off our tail. If I would have chopped power he would have hit us and we would have crashed and burned. I was so scared I could not even think of what I should do. He never tried to contact us on radio, we were still with gwinnett county tower. Then, with no warning the citation pulled up just off my right wing, firewalled the throttles, and pulled up, out of sight. He was definitely hotdogging. The citation continued to follow us, at a higher altitude, overtaking us several times, and circling back around. I could not tell if he was trying to guide me somewhere to land or not. I have 12 inch registration numbers, so I see no need to get that close in midair. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that he learned of the special airspace and the identify of the cessna citation when he was asked to call them after contacting the tower from which he had originated. In fact he was almost back to the airport when he was overtaken by the government citation. The FAA have proposed a 30 day suspension of his pilot certificate.

Title: PVT PLT OF A CESSNA 172 WAS INTERCEPTED BY A GOV CESSNA CITATION 500 WHEN HE PENETRATED A SPECIAL RESTR AREA FOR A VENUE OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A VERY IMPORTANT VIP ON THE GND AS AN OBSERVER ATTENDING THE GAMES.
